23 Jan Heineman Brother Host Inaugural Charity Casino Classic to Benefit Team Prime Time
Professional baseball players and brothers, Tyler and Scott Heineman, hosted the inaugural Prime Time Charity Casino Classic presented by Social Bluebook on Wednesday at the Buffalo Club in Santa Monica.
The event raised money for Team Prime Time, a 501(c)(3) organization, with the mission to provide programs for at-risk children from low-income areas of Los Angeles that combine academics, athletics, leadership training, and the arts. The organization operates in 43 schools with over 4,000 student
participants each year. Tyler and Scott have always been passionate about philanthropy and are committed to giving back to their community through organizations impacting the lives of youth. The Heineman brothers, from Pacific Palisades, have volunteered for Team Prime Time since 2014.
Celebrity guests in attendance included Ryan Braun, Mike Moustakas, Lucas Giolito, Jack Flaherty, Trevor Plouffe, and more.
Guests enjoyed passed hors d’ouevres, casino games, a silent auction, and entertainment by card magicians.
ABOUT THE HEINEMAN BROTHERS
Tyler Heineman, 27, is a catcher in the Arizona Diamondbacks organization. He was drafted by the Houston Astros in 2012 out of UCLA. He founded Deluxe Trading Cards after years of developing his passion for cardistry.
Scott Heineman, 26, is an outfielder for the Texas Rangers. He was drafted by the Rangers in 2015 out of the University of Oregon. He was named Rangers 2018 Minor League Prospect of the Year by MLB Pipeline.
